Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you do outside of the gym?
Outside the gym I’m crazy busy! I’m a wife, a mother, a student, and my husband and I are Pastors of a growing Spanish ministry. I’m constantly on the go.
What initially got you into CrossFit and what keeps you coming back?
What got me into CrossFit was actually watching the CrossFit games. I saw how the workouts challenged everyone. The challenge is also what keeps me coming back every workout. It’s an opportunity to make yourself better.
What’s an accomplishment or goal you’ve reached due to CrossFit that’s made you the most proud?
Wow if I had to pick one accomplishment it would be the gradual change in my body. The muscles and strength I’ve gained is awesome. It’s crazy to see where I started and where I’m at now. I’m really excited to see myself at the one year mark.
If there was one CrossFit movement you’d like to perfect, what would it be?
I would love to perfect the Snatch. It’s the one that most challenges me.
Any advice for someone interested in trying out CrossFit?
Yes! The best advice I can give is jump in and do it! Yes it’s an investment, yes it’s a challenge, yes you will be sore, but you feel so accomplished after the WOD.
